Hope Johnson is the founder and CEO of Pyramind LLC and a trusted advisory partner to CEOs and senior executives, Hope brings characteristic vigor and expertise to solving complex leadership challenges. Her exceptional talent lies in identifying genuine leadership potential that aligns with her clients' future strategic direction, not just their immediate needs.

At Pyramind, she employs a distinctive three-pronged assessment approach that examines candidates' complete career trajectories, decision-making patterns, and leadership behaviors—providing clients with comprehensive analyses that inform strategic hiring decisions.

Hope's career trajectory reflects her adaptability and commitment to excellence. Before establishing Pyramind, she spent a decade at a leading-edge global search firm, where she gained valuable exposure to multinational retained search methodologies. This experience followed key roles at strategic hiring and market intelligence firms across industries.

Hope's professional journey began as a Peace Corps volunteer, which instilled in her the resourcefulness and resilience that remain hallmarks of her approach today. She holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MSW from the University of South Carolina, which informs her intuitive understanding of human dynamics and organizational needs.

Victoria Geis

Principal

Victoria Geis serves as Principal at Pyramind LLC, bringing a unique blend of executive search expertise and human capital innovation to the firm. With over 20 years of experience spanning retained search, HR leadership, and organizational development, Victoria excels at building trusting relationships with clients that result in impactful organizational changes. Her dual perspective as both search consultant and HR leader enables her to identify authentic leadership potential that aligns with clients' strategic direction and organizational culture.


At Pyramind LLC, Victoria Geis leverages her distinctive background in both executive search and human resources leadership to connect visionary organizations with transformative talent. Known for her compassionate approach, creative problem-solving, and unwavering integrity, Victoria brings both analytical rigor and emotional intelligence to every client engagement. Her commitment to meeting organizations where they are while helping them envision where they could go makes her an invaluable partner in navigating today's complex leadership challenges.

Victoria's career path reflects her adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit. Prior to joining Pyramind in 2024, Victoria spent a decade as a Divisional Human Capital Business Partner at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), where she provided strategic guidance in organizational development, succession planning, and leadership coaching that created more agile, value-driven teams.

She has served in HR and recruitment capacities across industries, including roles at Ogilvy Public Relations; The Auburn School; MetaMorphix; and CBIZ. Victoria began her career in the retained search industry. She serves as Board Chair for Broad Futures, an organization creating paid internships for neurodivergent young adults, reflecting her commitment to creating inclusive workplaces where diverse talent can flourish. Victoria holds a degree in Theater from the University of Mary Washington, which informs her intuitive approach to leadership assessment and human dynamics.

Executive Coach & Assessment Specialist

Adam Smith, MBA, PCC, is an accomplished executive coach and assessment specialist. With over 4,000 coaching hours serving more than 1,000 clients across 63 countries, Adam brings specialized expertise in leadership assessment and development to Pyramind's clients when tailored validation services are needed.

Adam's extensive background in leadership assessment, organizational development, and executive coaching enables him to provide valuable insights through specialized assessment tools that help senior executives gain deeper self-awareness, optimize their influence, and achieve greater professional success.


Adam Smith provides specialized assessment services for Pyramind LLC clients seeking additional validation in their leadership decisions. His unique strength lies in understanding the delicate balance between assessment data and other critical factors in the search process, allowing him to deliver insights that complement Pyramind's comprehensive approach to retained search.

Adam's background includes managing client relationships for international retained search firms and leading consulting engagements encompassing leadership team assessments, succession planning, and organizational design projects. His global perspective is enhanced by his Spanish language proficiency and experience working with clients across 63 countries.

Adam holds a BA in English Literature from Mary Washington University, an MBA in Organizational Development from Johns Hopkins University, and an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. He is certified in many assessments including Hogan, Leadership Circle, EQi, DiSC, and also conducts stakeholder and behavioral interviews upon request.
